Summer Schedule
The MLSA is marking our 66th year on Lake Monomonac this summer. This year we have lots to do for everyone.
If you sail and have not yet raced…come on out! there is no minimum skill level required to race. Lots of help is available to get you started. Doing dock duty is a good way to see what happens in our races. Talk to me, Sue, Chip or any sailor in the club and we’ll help get you started
This year the 4th of July Boat Parade theme will be “your favorite decade”. Decorate your boat and yourselves and come on out. There will be first, second and third place prizes for competitors.
This year will feature a Home and Beach Category. You don’t have to own a boat to participate in the 4th of July Contest. Decorate your home or beach in “your favorite decade” theme. Entrants will be judged in their own class (not in a boat category). Prizes will be awarded to the Home and Beach Contestants. (e-mail Mike Greaves to get on the beach list: mikegeraves13@gmail.com)
This year we will be participating in the Rindge 250th Anniversary parade to be held on August 11th. Steve Gray will be building a float and is looking for volunteers to help….please give him a call if you can be of service. (603-899-6625 / snkgray@myfairpoint.net).
Consider becoming a social member ($20), or sailing member($40). Applications are available from myself, the Vice Commodore, Susan Kochinskas, the vice commodore, and most of the members you see on the lake.

Are folks still sailing Sunrays on Monomonac? Any for sale?
I was not sure who to ask..But are the black buoys hazard markers or channel guides on Mononomac?? We trashed a propeller while going between the red and black buoys..
